Adult Education

There are several opportunities for adult study at the Advent:

  • "Entr'acte," Sunday morning sessions between the 9 and 11:15 am Masses, covering a range of subjects throughout the year and taught by the clergy and occasionally by parishioners and guest speakers with knowledge in particular areas of interest;
  • An Enquirer's Class which is a required preparation for adult Confirmation, Reception, or Reaffirmation, providing an overview of the Faith, the traditions of Anglicanism, and Anglo-Catholicism;
  • "Theology on Tap"/"Ockham's Kegger" - informal gatherings, usually at a local pub, focusing on the interaction between faith and aspects of contemporary culture;
  • Neighborhood Bible Studies conducted weekly in the homes of parishioners.
