Adult Education
There are several opportunities for adult study at the Advent:
- "Entr'acte," Sunday morning sessions between the 9 and 11:15
am Masses, covering a range of subjects throughout the year and taught
by the clergy and occasionally by parishioners and guest speakers with
knowledge in particular areas of interest;
- An Enquirer's Class which is a required preparation for adult Confirmation,
Reception, or Reaffirmation, providing an overview of the Faith, the
traditions of Anglicanism, and Anglo-Catholicism;
- "Theology on Tap"/"Ockham's Kegger" - informal gatherings, usually at a local pub, focusing on the interaction between faith and aspects of contemporary culture;
- Neighborhood Bible Studies conducted weekly in the homes of parishioners.

The Rt. Rev'd N. T. Wright, Lord Bishop of Durham,
had dinner with members of the "Friends at the Advent"
at John Harvard's Brew House in Harvard Square before delivering a lecture at Harvard's Memorial Church
